About Us
Welcome to GDS Butiken! We’re glad you found your way here!
GDS Butiken is a family-owned business run by us, Micke & Sussie. We are truly passionate about creating and fixing things. Our workshop is packed with more machines than we actually have floor space for, and quite a few of these machines would be amazing if only we had the time to tweak them a bit… and we have way more projects than hours available. Does this sound familiar? Then you’re probably one of us 😀
We started GDS Butiken because we found it took so much time to source materials for our projects. A lot of hours had to be spent online searching for components and parts. The idea of making it easier for home DIY enthusiasts to get quality gear grew on us. We also wanted to share all the things we create since everything is so much more fun when you can talk with like-minded people.
Our first product was the vacuum former. We designed and built it ourselves in our workshop. It has been so much fun to see how our idea has sparked incredible creativity across the country! Thank you to everyone who has shared photos and sent them to us!
We launched GDS Butiken at the beginning of 2018, and we are continually expanding our store. We’re just getting started… so we’re very curious to know what interests you! What would you like to buy from us? Please get in touch with tips and ideas! And photos… we love photos 🙂
